  1. It was a pleasure knowing you, Sir. *tips hat*
It is not every day one gets to meet a gentleshark with manners as impeccable as yours, or a gentleshark at all for that matter. It was a very educational as well as enjoyable experience. I wish you the best of luck wherever life may take you. *bows*

  3. Ahhh, Sharky. It's always a pleasure to be around you, even if you do make me feel rather silly with my... Rather basic vocabulary! I just realized if you put 'Rather' in a sentence, it makes you sound smarter!!! One day you will lose your dictionary, Sharky. It will be awesome, rather awesome indeed! See? I'm smart now!

I love you Sharky! I'm happy your back!!

  4. Ah, my dear friend Sir. I admire your dedication to excellent grammar and even more excellent dress sense. If there were more people like you in the world, the world would be a better place. I am proud to consider you my friend.

  7. I know it has been really tough for you lately, but I just wanted to remind you that you are an incredible gentleshark, and our community wouldn't be the same, had it not been touched by your presence. You have left a handprint on your hearts, Sir- your vocabulary, your kindness, your finesse- it has become a dear part of Bloglandian life, and we miss you lots.

    Hope you feel better :)

  8. Thank you for being here - you've been really unique and I've enjoyed every single one of your comments since you arrived. :) I always enjoy reading past comments more when you've been online. You're really awesome, and I really hope you're okay. :/ *hugs*
If I ever knew what to say to tell people how awesome they were, I would say it, but somehow I can never find it . . .

  10. Sirrrrrrrr! Blogland's one and only gentleshark. You know, whenever I'm explaining the wonderful weirdness of Blogland to a friend, you're the first thing I tell them about. That there's a gentleman shark with a classical vocabulary who's just really polite and awesome, and does this thing with screech-y portals, and thinks dolphins are pure evil.

The first time you commented while I was on the blog, you seemed like some sort of legend- everyone was so thrilled that you were there, and chatting away about how awesome you'd always been. For a bit, there was this pretend conspiracy theory of sorts that I was secretly your author- but let me tell you, I wish that I could write well enough, be witty enough, etc., to pull that off. And I really admire your author, as well as you, for being so clever and creative and quite eloquent. See what I did there? Quite? Heh. Bad jokes. ANYWAY
Blogland really just couldn't be half as inspiring, in my eyes, without you. So, thank you. And I wish you all the best luck in getting through whatever challenges you're facing.

  11. Sir~ You're one of the unique individuals that makes Blogland the interesting place it is. It's always a pleasure to speak to you, or see conversations you've had as I read back through the comments. You're an intelligent person, and I love it when people are intelligent. So much more interesting than idiots. You've been a large part of creating the quirky, creative nature of this place, the feel about it that makes quirky, creative people like me feel at home.
Anyway... I hope both you and your author can get through the challenges life has set out for you. You've both been in my thoughts.

  13. When people ask me to tell then about Blogland, I instantly go through everyone. And the person that they all know is you, Sir. Blogland's one and only gentleshark that has threatened to eat me on more than one occasion... You are wonderful, Sir. I love you.

  14. Of all the newer people I have met, you are one of my favorites! You help make the blog a more interesting and fun place. I can imagine that Derek is proud and pleased to have such a minion as you on his blog.
Thanks for making the blog a better place.

  15. Sir, when I first met you, I didn't think you were real. But when you insisted that this really was you, and proved it by not lapsing in your behaviour once, you became my favourite person to talk to.

It was so nice to finally find someone else who practiced the long lost art of grammar someone with a larger lexicon than my own! This and your wonderful intellect make you simply a joy to talk to. I haven't even mentioned SirTC, who is a lovely creation whose cameo-style appearances in the RP were simply a joy.

I'm not very good at conveying my feelings with the written word. I find the lack of ability to change pitch and tone hugely limiting, and I doubt that what I have written conveys just how amazing I think you are. So, however you think I view you, multiply it by ten.

  16. Sir I regret not having known you properly, I won't lie i found your advanced grammar and vocabulary slightly intimidating. But I do know you enough to say that you are one amazing shark. Don't ever change.

  17. I remember the time before you became a shark(how the heck did that happen anyway, I wasn't even there at that time), but shark or human, you were a gentleman either way, and it was immense fun to meet someone with such an old manner of speech. (See what I'm trying to do here? Failin like heck. :P Anyway), and it was a great pleasure to have made your aquaintance, Sir.

  18. Sir, you have without question provided me with some of my warmest memories. I find it absolutely wonderful to talk to someone like you, in a world where there are so few gentlemen or ladies left to have a proper discussion with. My shoddily-hidden affections for you are no secret, though I have put them aside, as they are entirely unprofessional. Though you haven't been online in a while, and we so rarely speak nowadays, I want you to know that I miss you most ardently, and both you and your author are treasures. Thank you.

  19. My dear,
You have provided me with such a deep and cherished friendship over these past few months. Though we have known each other for years, recently we have been closer, and I appreciate the time you put into it. I love you too, my friend, and I love your author as well. You both comfort me when I need you to, always.
    I can't thank you enough. You're a wonderful human.

    *Hugs gently*
