A Random Comment of Kindness

Hey, Mara here!

So, I was looking through the comments and I realised that we're always complimenting each other - but always ignoring those complinents. No? :P

So I came up with A Random Comment of Kindness(ARCK)!

Basically, you change your Blogger username to something random (anything, it doesn't matter, as long as it isn't your normal Blogger name) and for each Bloglandian (I hope I won't forget anyone...) there will be a blog post. You can comment a compliment about that person, and we'll give them the link to their blogpost. When they read the comments, they won't know who complimented them so they can't give out to them for the compliment! XD

This is probably a terrible idea, but opinions?

daughterofmyworld came up with the idea that you can all comment when you're not signed in (anonymously), and I fixed up the blog to do so :)

    that's an AWESOME Idea Mara! But there's only one problem... when people comment with the names that they make up, it'll appear like that, but when they change them back, you can click on their name thingy and in their profile it'll say who it really was. But other than that, I like it! :D xP

    Oh I have an idea, how bout you make a post for each Bloglandian, and just have everyone comment as anonymous (i.e. they don't sign into an account). You can change the blog settings so that people can comment anonymously. Hope it works out! :)

    Well, I've set up the blog so that anonymous people who don't have a Blogger can comment, so if you're not signed in you can comment anonymously :) but that's a good idea too, just in case the other idea doesn't work! :)

    What is a bloglandian exactly? is it just a person who is always on Derek's blog, or is it what you call the people who have been there for a long amount of time? oh and also how many people are you doing posts for?

      A Bloglandian is a person who/who used to frequently be a part of the community on Derek's blog that is Blogland. :)

      I hope that was a good definition . . .

      And you don't have to be on the blog for ages to become a Bloglandian.

      I think you become a Bloglandian if you act like a Bloglandian/like you're going to become a Blgolandian. :P

      Not 100% sure as I'm writing this without reference to any other Bloglandians, but yeah. *nods*

    This is a really wonderful idea. I need to come on more and get to know you guys plus this is just the loveliest thing as well. Tomorrow I break up from school forever so should have much more time to go back to blogland.

    I would also love to be an author so Kallie doesn't have to do all of the work herself.
